What to Expect

The Worship Gathering

The gathering usually lasts around 60 minutes and includes the following: 

• We sing theologically-rich songs of worship. You can listen to our most common songs here.
• Our pastor preaches straight from the Bible. Typically we are walking verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible.
• We learn using a question from the New City Catechism.
• People will be dressed casually. (Our pastor is usually wearing jeans, and many people will be in shorts.)
• Light refreshments in the lobby.

HopeValley Kids

For babies through kindergarten age we have a class just for them during the worship gathering. In this class they will enjoy Bible teaching, songs, activities, snacks and more. The teachers are all trained and child safety and security is our highest priority.

For older kids we have kid’s activity packs available in the lobby. These packs contain a snack, coloring sheets, and crayons. We also have Jesus Storybook Bibles available to all kids for free.
